Scholarship Terms and Conditions
This document outlines the Terms and Conditions for the Dillman Driving School Driven Scholarship, bursaries and awards, administered by the The Dillman Group, LLC. All scholarships, bursaries and awards will be referred to as ‘scholarships’ herein. By submitting an application for our scholarship, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.
You must read these Terms and Conditions in their entirety before you apply for your scholarship. When you apply for your scholarship you are agreeing to and accepting these Terms and Conditions and agree to the requirements and conditions of your scholarship.
Students in receipt of the scholarship may also be required to sign an individual scholarship agreement. Students must meet all conditions as outlined in the agreement.
All correspondence between applicant and Dillman Driving School will be operated primarily via email, with the option of an in-person meeting, based on Dillman Driving School's decision. All applicants must use a valid email address to be eligible. Any changes to this email address, after submission of application and without necessary cause, may result in cancelation of their application.
Any successful applicant will be required to show proof that they are enrolled in, or have been accepted to, an accredited college or university, commencing studies in the fall of the 2019-2020 academic year.
All students offered scholarships will receive an official ‘offer’ email offering the funds, and must reply either accepting or rejecting this offer within 14 days of receipt.
Failure to respond within this 14-day period may result in the scholarship offer being withdrawn and reassigned. You must accept your scholarship offer by the due date, as instructed in your offer email, to be eligible to receive payment.
The Dillman Driving School will make payment of the funds in one single installment, though we reserve the right to make payment in multiple installments, as we see fit.
The total value of the scholarship offered is $500.
Scholarships are awarded based on established eligibility criteria. You must meet the eligibility requirements to receive your scholarship. The eligibility requirements for each scholarship are outlined on the scholarship page of our website.
You may be permitted to hold more than one scholarship.
The Dillman Driving School is not responsible for and cannot provide you with financial advice on taxation matters. The information provided here is of a general nature only and does not take into account your individual financial circumstances. If you are enrolled full-time (at least 18 credit points per semester), your scholarship payment may not be taxed, however Dillman Driving School is not responsible for checking and notifying you of, nor paying any taxation obligations.
Providing false or misleading information is an offense. If Dillman Driving School knows or has reason to believe that you have provided false or misleading information, the Dillman Driving School may reassess your entitlement to the scholarship and you will be liable to re-pay to the Dillman Driving School the total sum of any payments incorrectly made to you.
The Dillman Driving School reserve the right to cancel the Scholarship program at any point.
